The Kauri Series was inspired by the ancient Kauri forests of New Zealand. These uniquely shaped trees shed lower branches as they reach into the sky. The Gossamer Kauri features a delicate coloration with Japanese silver foil, a dusting of white powdered glass, and pops of gold ruby and gold aventurine.
This unique sculpture was created and assembled on the blowpipe while hot. Signed on bottom.
